Why is Drillbrush the Industry Leader in Drill-Powered Cleaning?
What Makes Drillbrush the Industry Leader in Drill-Powered Brushes?

Perusing the annals of online marketplaces today, you’ll be faced with quite a few options when it comes to drill-powered scrubbers. There’ll be plenty of poorly Photoshopped listings from companies with randomly generated names or maybe some brush sets from popular hardware brands that exist just to cover their bases.

However, if you’re looking for a quality drill-cleaning experience, Drillbrush Power Scrubber is still the way to go. The industry leader in drill-powered scrubbing, Drillbrush stands tall over the competition in nearly every field.

But what exactly makes Drillbrush the industry leading drill brush? How does Drillbrush beat out the other scrubbers and what makes it stand out from any old budget brush?

Today, we’ll go over all the ways Drillbrush has contributed to the cleaning world and the advancements and efforts we have made to be the industry-leading drill-powered scrub brush.

We Are the Original Drillbrush Inventors

We Are the Original Drillbrush Inventors

Drillbrush isn’t just another drill-powered scrub brush brand; we’re the FIRST drill-powered scrub brush brand!

Drillbrush was invented in 2005 by car wash owner and former electrician Anthony LaPolla. After opening up a self-service car wash in his hometown of Marcy, NY, LaPolla would often help customers scrub their rims and tires. However, after years of difficult electrical and construction work, LaPolla had developed Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, which made it painful to scrub surfaces by hand.

That’s when he had a breakthrough; he bought a toilet wand from a local dollar store, cut off the handle, and attached a drill bit to the brush to create a brush that could go in his drill. And thus, the Drillbrush was born.

Since then, LaPolla has refined the design and has expanded the invention into a full-fledged line of over 300 products and kits.

Drillbrush leads the drill-powered brush industry because we started it! Without us, there'd be nothing to copy!

Drillbrush Pioneers Unique Brush Shapes and Bristle Types

Drillbrush Pioneers Unique Brush Shapes and Bristle Types

Drillbrush has a variety of brush shapes and stiffnesses.

When Anthony LaPolla invented the drill brush, he didn’t just stop at just a rounded toilet-wand shaped brush. LaPolla knew that customers would have all sorts of cleaning needs to meet, so he expanded the line to cover as many applications as possible.

While the Original brush was great for corners and rounded areas, it was suboptimal on certain flat surfaces. So Drillbrush introduced the flat brushes in 4 inch and 5 inch to handle just such spaces.

Drillbrush innovated on the Original brush by offering two new sizes; Mini and Jumbo; for tight and large spaces specifically. We even created the cone-shaped corner brush to handle 90-degree angle corners, which the Original sometimes can miss.

In fact, Drillbrush has several unique brushes that practically no one else has copied. The Edge brush is a wheel-shaped scrubber designed to get into grooves and grout lines. Our giant 7 inch brushes are built for professional cleaners who need it for large-scale cleaning jobs in office buildings, schools, and other commercial cleaning jobs.

We even worked with auto detailing professionals to reintroduce useful items that are no longer sold, like our hook-and-loop backed 3 inch scrub brush built for mini-polishers.

Drillbrush is also the first drill-powered brush brand to offer multiple degrees of stiffness. Not only do we sell medium-grade general purpose bristles (in three colors to prevent cross contamination, no less), we also sell soft brushes for delicate scrubbing, stiff bristles for harder stains, and ultra stiff black brushes for heavy duty cleaning tasks.

What do the competitors have? The same few brushes with medium bristles that are labeled “stiff” on some variations, but are really not much different. Drillbrush is an industry leader due to our commitment to innovation and our expansive, diverse product line.

Our Commitment to Quality

Our Commitment to Quality

It’s easy to slap together some material and make a brush, but it’s another thing to make a high quality brush that lasts. And that’s exactly what we do at Drillbrush.

People who bought competing brushes or knock-offs have had similar complaints; the shaft spun out, the bristles frayed, and it only lasted them a few uses.

At Drillbrush, we have rigid quality assurance and calls about defective brushes are fairly rare for us. But when we do get one, our helpful customer service team is ready to assist and offer a replacement kit if needed.

Our brushes are built with a proprietary, heat-treated stainless steel shaft. They’re incredibly durable and don’t spin out like the cheap imitation brands. Our brushes also feature high quality, non-scratch nylon bristles that stay sturdy and don’t lose their color.

Our brushes are premium grade and built to last. Drillbrush products can last you 100+ uses, while the other brands sometimes break on the first spin. It’s one of the primary reasons Drillbrush leads the pack in drill-powered cleaning.

Excellent U.S. Based Customer Service

Excellent U.S. Based Customer Service

Anthony LaPolla; the Inventor of Drillbrush.

For many drill-powered scrub brush brands, customer service isn’t even an option. If you have a problem with a cheap, poorly constructed brush, you’re out of luck.

If they do have some form of customer service, it’s probably through a third party company where they’ll transfer you around from call center worker to call center worker for hours.

Drillbrush is different; we do customer support in-house! If you contact Drillbrush for support, not only are you getting a knowledgeable, full-time Drillbrush employee who knows the product inside and out; there’s a very great chance you’ll speak with the inventor himself!

Anthony LaPolla always fields calls about his brushes and offers great advice and troubleshooting for those looking to find a specific brush for a certain application, or are trying to navigate an issue.

Few companies offer this hands-on approach to customer service, which is why Drillbrush is leaps and bounds ahead of the other brush brands. You can find ways to reach us on our Contact Us page.
