According to the survey, a clean house does wonders for your romantic viability. Over 75% of people would not move into a partner’s home if it’s not clean, 80% factor cleanliness into whether they continue dating someone, and 33% go as far as to judge the cleanliness of the room in dating profile pictures before swiping.

Two of the biggest turn-offs in the survey? An unclean bathroom and an unclean kitchen. Over 80% of both men and women said a filthy bathroom ruins the mood, while over 75% of both groups can’t stand a dirty kitchen.

A similar sentiment was echoed in the Glamour article 5 “Manly” Things Guys Think Are Sexy for Your to Do, where writer John Ortved says of seeing a woman performing household repairs and tasks with tools, “I think self-assured, self-possessed women, who know what they like to do and what they are into are always sexy, no matter what they're doing.”
